fashion in context part 3!!! taste in fashion and in terms of societal class..?

Today i wanted talk about whether taste is still the prerogative/right of a certain class or type of person, etc

first id like to start with giving context tot his question/statement in the past styles and fashion have definitely majoritively been controlled by which class you are in as in the past a lot of higher class citizens would be the first to get all the new and latest fashion and it would slowly trickle down to the other sub classes of citizen. However in my opinion now a days its more subversive as in you have the ability to dress as if u have money without actually spending crazy amounts of money. there is still this fascination with high end brands that cost an arm and a leg such as Gucci, Prada, Steve madden (a brand that i am particularly infatuated with) which are still quite elite as not many of your average persons can afford to just up and buy from them they have to save however i will say it is still more accessible than it was back in the day as well as acceptable. so in terms of taste and sense of fashion in my opinion i believe the working class so people who have to make due and find interesting pieces where they can and have to work on styling basics together in order to match their personal style have better taste and sense of fashion than most rich b people that can just go into any store and blow copious amounts of cash on the latest designs without actually knowing how to style or pair them correctly with a stylists help etc. so in conclusion i don't believe in these current times that style and taste don't belong to a certain group of people but is more so up to the individual but i believe is more prevalent in lower income people who have to work in order to actually develop their own styles etc.
